Online Auction

How this works: Your items will remain at your premises OR be moved to an offsite location. Auction items will be featured/auctioned online at www.cornerbids.com. We will photograph everything with high resolution digital photography, picturing items from every imaginable angle. These are used, along with a complete and accurate description, to establish buyer confidence. We will receive and handle all correspondence with potential buyers and set up an inspection date (prior to auction end) for potential buyers to view items. Your auction will be “live” online for a period of up to three weeks and have a defined end date and time. A pick-up/payment date will be set, and we will be present to collect funds and transfer ownership.

The appeal of this option: We have our own online auction site: www.cornerbids.com, through an established online auction site web engine. Theme specific auctions are ideal! Reserves can be set! There is a definite completion date (as in a traditional auction, once it’s done, it’s done!) and inspections and pick-up dates are scheduled and staffed by Oistad Estate & Auction Service.

Fees involved: There are NO HIDDEN FEES, we do not charge a BUYER'S FEE. Oistad Estate & Auction Service charges a “Seller’s Premium” (our commission is a pre-negotiated percentage of the final sale price). Some marketing fees may be involved with an online auction. Oistad Estate & Auction Service can design, print, and distribute large, colored flyers around the area. We can create a newspaper advertisement and submit it for the Seller if you desire. Only actual publishing costs would be charged.
